nigeria! nigeria!! nigeria!!! how many times did i call you?

this country sometimes makes me sick but what can i say huh? i still love it but the truth there is that this things we call leaders and leaders of tomorrow are all confused jumbos waiting to eat there own share of the national cake or should i say moi-moi(bean pudding).

Nigeria is going to the world cup, yee-pee!!!!!!! like i care. the time i did they where messing up and now by the stroke of luck they are going and like that's a big deal, i wonder. they had to wait for the sluggish and God-knows-what-the-future-holds for them in football, Kenyan football team to show up so that they could score some mistake goals and go to the world cup.

now the problem i have with this is not the fact that we are going but what the so called leaders of the NFA(Nigeria Football Association) are saying. they said that they do not want the Amodu guy (coach of the national team) who helped their sorry ass of a team to qualify to the world cup to coach them to the African cup of nations let alone the world cup. can you imagine the insult. as to God who made me, what the hell was that? guess what was their reason...in order for Nigeria to have a chance in the world cup. like as if those things they parade as players have a chance at anything as regards to their careers. i do not mean to be a self absorbed individual but do we seriously think that we are gonna get anywhere this mediocrity. football is the only thing Nigeria seems to be good at in terms of sports and with the kind of players we have then I'm sorry i think we suck in it already.

now they want a foreign coach when Samson Siasia took the U-20 and U-17 team to the finals of the world cup and yet is still not considered. that dude is the angel that we've been praying for but i think that our so called NFA execs are in need of concentrated sulphuric acid to wash their eyes, i guess. not that I'm campaigning for him but Samson is great. Amodu, i think is the go to guy for qualification, then Eguavoen is for nations cup and my love, Siasia is for the world cup and if NFA is not ready to hire Scholari then i think they should forget it.

as for the players, my advice to them it, honor before money. why i said that, simple. because it would be the only thing that they'd be remembered by long after they are gone. money unless you were one time the richest person in the world would not make you live forever but your legacy. so if i were them I'd think of what i want to be remembered by, which is either a member of the first African team that won the world cup or just a regular player who's pocket is a fat like every other player out there. how i wish Odemwingie had a better platform to portray what a great player he really is. oh well one the shenanigans of being a Nigerian i guess.

some nigerian artists...............argh!

as a full blooded and proud Nigerian i must say there are some things that you just listen to and want to kill the person who sang it the very instant you do. i mean, what the f*** is the world turning into these days seriously i don't get it.
y would you call yourself a musician that is meant to entertain me and you bore, you know what scratch that because bore is too much of a nice thing to do. how about pissing the shit out of me huh?

if i start mentioning names i won't leave here today but to start off there's this dude called TIMAYA. not trying to be rude or anything but i do not know why he is famous seriously. he sings crap. i'm not interested in any other thing except his music those other things are his problems. i respect that fact why he got into music. i sympathize with him but really hasn't he made enough money yet from the sales of his first album from what i recollect a lot of motor park boys and bus drivers bought the album and some of my demented friends(lol, the are so gonna kill me if they read this) so why the prevalence of mediorcity over value and taste over succession of organised sounds that is pleasing to the ear?

now i just read he has released a new single off his upcoming album, third album and guess what he named it? plantain boy. yep! you heard right plan-tain boy. how sick can a person get. doesn't he have people that tell him to diversify his music. he should know that nigerian is not a big motorpark where whatever he sings would be accepted. i seriously think that we need some harsh critics like Simon Cowell to put him in his place. tomorrow he'll be complaining of piracy, why won't there be when the songs you make are for the same people who prefer to buy pirated copies because its cheaper?

my advice for him is this think before you sing or shut the hell up. simple. we don't need rubbish in our ears all in the name of music. i'm telling you i hear that mosiquito buzzing in my ear i am so gonna squash it. crap! what rubbish.

russian roulette-my november song and other shenaingans attached

i know most people will be like blah what the f*** but to me this was the song for me. compared to the trash that beyonce, alicia keys, lady gaga, lil' wayne and Chris brown dolled out for us this year this is by far the best. can you imagine the tragic nonsense Alicia keys expects us to be stuck with? i seriously do not know why these people are afraid of going outside their box. rock stars do it everyday though it doesn't come out great all the time but at least they tried. do they think that we are that stupid? they come into the industry hungry without food and shelter and nobody who cares about them. we embrace them, love them, give them food to eat and guess what they do; turn their backs on us and force feed us with the crap they call music. i rather listen to kumbaya than the trash I'm subjected to these days. most of them forget that we are their customers and we need to be satisfied or else........!

come to think of it, i think we are already too stupid to know that right? look at us.... i mean most of us are more interested in daydreaming about them. they feed us with good looks and nudity with a slap of trashy music in the face and we say thank you. we always fail to realize the obvious until we are broke and looking for money to feed ourselves. seriously what are we thinking when we go about praising lil' wayne for a job woefully done? i don't get it. why the hell should i call you a pro when you can't rap a sentence that will want me to be interested in the other things you have to say?

back to the subject rihanna i must say though that i was not her fan from the outset, has really grown as an artist. when she newly came in with her music of the sun album she like every other Caribbean who was trying to keep it real with her reggae roots. it was an average album then she came with the a girl like me which was rhythm and blues catchy but okay. all and all I'd saId it was nice. then the breakthrough....good girl gone bad was a pop album with hints of rock and r'n'b to this i said rihanna had arrived.

now rated r I've heard bits and pieces of the entire album and i say its a rock album with hints of reggae and pop. now this is what i call diversity. she is trying new things and to me whether it sells or not shows that she is out there to entertain us though i think she's still using the cheap route of sex sells to promote her album.
Russian roulette to me is a very deep song and to me it made sense. the lyrics were very metaphorical and it had to do with a struggle, fight etc. she nailed it here and i don't care what anybody thinks of this song like i said before this is the best thing that rihanna has ever opened her mouth and sang. this song is amazing. its simple and short not like the too long and boring bullshit that beyonce or lady gaga subjects us to......very agonizing.
to me great songs don't take too much time, they are not long. they come, touch you and go within a matter of five minutes. finally i can now say that rihanna now has a classic song that will never die even in ages to come. Russian roulette is now one of the greatest songs of all time. and if you were wondering of chris brown........he's doomed not because that he's an abusive prick but because he was never meant to be a musician and he was, he needs a new management......FAST!

the clothes they are making these days

i was watching some talk show at home one time and it was about infidelity. you know the usual, men trying to defend themselves and women putting and fixing the blame on the men. then a dude said but "the clothes they are making the days for women aren't even helping matters".of course i thought the dude was a complete asshole for saying that as an excuse but come to think of it, it seems the fashion industry is more interested in taking the clothes off women than putting it on them. what i mean huh?
look at most of the designers, i know they all pride themselves of the fact that they can make us drool over their creations to the point that we starve to have their items, they also are encouraging the idea of less is more in the sense of less clothes covering your body parts the more sexy you are perceived.
i do not mean to be old school or ancient but don't we for one second look at the time of our grandparents and wish we could dress like those women- where they wore seductive looking but yet covering clothes and still the men wanted more. the reason the men wanted more was because they were tastefully dressed with a lot of class revealing a little but the right amount of skin which kept the men interested as in the thought of "i think there's more from where that came from". 'that' being the little skin displayed. this skin could be a little bit of a litttle cleavage, legs, neck, collar bones name it but rightfully done.
but now what i see are breasts not cleavages, dressed that grab the asses and do not get me started on the transparent crap they branded with the name 'fishnets'. everybody on the street is trying to look like the very same commercial sex workers they condemn and think they are better than and to think of celebrities aren't helping matters with their sense of style because these are the very same people we copy. i am 20 and i have friends who look up to rihanna for style tips from hair to clothes. to me i think her present haircut is amazing but her outfits are no different from the prostitutes that stay under the bridge at rumuola by night the only difference is the price tag and to me that is rather appalling.
oh how i wish we could go back to those days. its like the fashion industry is saying that men should look over fully clothed and women....oh well if you have a rag that can go round your body as long as your nipples and vagina are covered then you're okay.......argh we desperately need a change and i mean now.

hello me........ this is really my first time here so i think its gonna be fun. the word skank i know it kinda sounds somehow but its not that bad of a word. to me this meaning is more than music but peace of mind and the things that happens to us deep within. skank to me is not synonymous tranny but to creativity and the ability to switch modes. this is skank this is me, this is my blog , my very personal thingy for moi and me only. bless us all.
